Beauty Filter for Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams doesn't ship a real beauty filter — and most company-managed installs can't add plugins. CiCi Cam runs as a virtual camera on your own machine, so Teams sees an already-enhanced feed without any IT involvement.
Why the default setup falls short
Teams has no built-in beauty filter
Teams added background effects, but there's no skin smoothing, no lighting correction, no makeup. People joining from poor light look noticeably worse than the same call on Zoom.
IT-managed Teams installs block plugins
Most enterprise Teams policies disable third-party app installs. You need a solution that lives outside Teams entirely.
Back-to-back meetings give no setup time
If your morning is six calls in a row, you can't rebuild a beauty preset every time. You need it stable, persistent, and one-click switchable.
How the setup works
- 1
Install CiCi Cam on your work laptop
Download the Windows or Mac installer. CiCi Cam runs locally and registers a virtual camera — no Teams admin permissions touched.
- 2
Open CiCi Cam before joining Teams
Select your physical webcam as the input source. CiCi Cam keeps running in the background through your entire meeting block.
- 3
Build a neutral “meeting” preset
Lighter smoothing, balanced whitening, subtle facial soft light, and a clean color filter — designed to look professional, not styled.
- 4
In Teams, change your camera device
Teams → Settings → Devices → Camera → select “CiCi Cam.” Teams will use the enhanced feed for video calls, scheduled meetings, and Live Events.
