How the setup works

    Install CiCi Cam and allow camera access

    Install on Windows 10/11 x64 or macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon. Allow camera access; on Mac, enable the camera extension if requested. Restart your meeting or streaming app after installation.

    Choose your webcam and adjust your look

    Select your physical webcam in CiCi Cam. Start with gentle smoothing and facial lighting, then adjust makeup, face shape and color while comparing the effect on and off.

    Select CiCi Cam in your destination app

    Open the camera settings in Zoom, Teams, Meet or Discord and choose CiCi Cam. In OBS, add a Video Capture Device and choose CiCi Cam as its Device. Use the app guides above for the full steps.

    Preview, save and keep CiCi Cam open

    Check the final preview in the destination app before your call or stream. Save your CiCi Cam preset and leave the desktop app running. Select the camera separately in every app you use.

What to know before you download

Free Starter and desktop Pro

Starter includes all features, with a daily usage time limit and a watermark on the output. Desktop Pro removes both. Check your current in-app allowance before a long meeting or stream.

Supported desktop systems

Use Windows 10/11 x64 or macOS 14+ on Apple Silicon. Intel Macs and mobile camera apps are not supported by this desktop workflow.

Separate appearance controls

Adjust skin smoothing, facial lighting, makeup, face shape and color independently. Save a preset, then check the result in the app that will send your video.

Beauty processing on your computer

CiCi Cam processes beauty effects locally. Your meeting or streaming app still sends video to other participants or viewers when you start a call or broadcast.

What apps recognize CiCi Cam as a camera?
CiCi Cam is designed for compatible desktop apps that expose a camera selector, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, OBS Studio, and Discord desktop. Availability can still depend on the app version, browser, operating-system permission, and managed-device policy, so test the exact destination app.
Does the virtual camera work in the browser?
It can work when the browser and operating system expose CiCi Cam to the site. Allow camera access, restart the browser after installation, and verify the exact service before relying on it for a call.
Is the virtual camera 1080p?
Available output modes depend on the physical webcam, computer, enabled effects, and destination app. Start with 1280 × 720 at 30 fps when troubleshooting, then raise the resolution only after the complete workflow remains stable.
Can I use the same look in more than one app?
Select CiCi Cam as the camera separately in each compatible app. This reuses one processed feed; it does not create independent CiCi Cam outputs or presets for each app. Test simultaneous camera access on your computer before relying on it.
Does local processing mean my video calls work offline?
Local processing means the beauty effects run on your computer. Online meetings and streams still require an internet connection. Check that you can sign in, access your plan and run your intended workflow before relying on an offline setup.
